I started betting because of the "free money" promotions at the start of the 2023 NFL Season.That "Bet $5, Get $200" promotion to be specific.And boy was I silly.All my money, and the free bets were gone by Week 4. ALL OF IT!Just to name a few embarassing bets I placed...
Multiple Kay Adams sponsored Fanduel bets (because she's so hot).
I tried this stupid bet from tiktok where you take "under first half points" in week 1 of the NFL season (doesn't work btw)
I've burned hundreds on 5+ leg anytime TD scorers, and 8+ Leg player prop parlays.
Even the shameless player props. Where I'd parlay JJettas, Ja'Marr Chase, and Alvin Kamara to get 40+ yards. Just so I could cash something.
I couldn't get simple spreads and moneylines to cash either!
I tried to get cute through arbitrage. Where I'd scour 10+ different books for hidden value (this did work, but I hate making pennies). I like net profit.
And to make matters worse, my Chicago Bears STUNK. So really, it was the worst fall ever.Just look at this GARBAGE I bet every Sunday...
But Salvation Came In The Spring...
Spring 2024 changed my life.I caught a HUGE stroke of luck when I learned a friend at school crunched numbers on spreadsheets for the entire 2023 MLB season.But didn't tell me a thing about it!(No, I don't hold it against him. Even though I'd have THREE MLB seasons under my belt at this point.)This f***er made $7k placing the SAME bet every game and didn't tell me!!!I called BS. His numbers were incomprehensible to me.I guess I was too familiar making Friday deposits, and losing the money by Sunday.But this guy was PRINTING cash with the most stupid, simple bet ever.Thus, the "1-Leg MLB Wonderkid Bet" was born.I know what you're thinking...Just know I don't love "dancing around the specifics" with you.I would tell you the lore-packed origin story, but doing so would completely give this away.Because it's that simple.So simple, I still wasn't a believer.So, when the 2024 MLB season rolled around in March, I tracked his bets for the first two weeks of the season.And it was all I needed to see the potential for massive returns.When I got started, the big wins didn't happen overnight, but on a month-to-month basis, we were GREEN.Even when we caught bad beats, both of our accounts were GREEN.With healthy margins you can't find anywhere else!And now that I'm almost two full MLB seasons into this journey, I have IMPROVED my hit rate, AND discovered the best ways to REDUCE risk.
Why this is working (and will for years)
The reason why this bet works is because it's a timing thing. This betting strategy is a "when", not an "if".I really hope you're sitting up in your seat at this point.Because this is when this strategy "clicked" for me.Even when I go cold, I know I'm eventually going to hit.

No, this bet is not "foolproof". But...
Aside from the MLB regular season ending on September 29th...I'm confident the potential "threats" to this bet are minimal at best. Here's why:I've learned two things while sports betting,1) Sportsbooks hire the smartest people on the planet.From behavioral psychologists, to data scientists, they have us backed into a corner.Just in 2023 alone, the company that owns FanDuel, spent over $3.5 BILLION on marketing and technology (1).Yes, this includes their endless research, and studies on how to get you to burn as much money as possible.So, if books had an issue with me placing the bet for two years now, there should be no issue with you tailing.But most of all...2) They HATE losingWhich is why any "loophole" or potential flaw in their betting ecosystem, gets squashed like a bug.Did you see what FanDuel announced last month?
Overnight, FanDuel decided they can void/cancel bets made by "groups" of people.Aka telegram groups, discords, group chats, communities, etc.They did this because a "guru" with 200,000+ Twitter followers shared a ridiculous longshot parlay.And since so many people tailed, FanDuel caught wind of it, and shut the operation down.The original ticket was $11 turned into $100,000+. But the winners didn't see any of the money! ZERO!It goes to show how these books, and the corporate suits that call the shots, are a bunch of rats.
